Vineyard From Greenhough, a BioGro-certified organic, vegan-friendly Nelson producer. The Apple Valley fruit is grown on the estate’s home vineyard, with vines planted from 1996. Grapes are hand-picked at low sugar levels to keep flavours pure, then gently whole-bunch pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel with an aromatic yeast. The wine is chilled to stop fermentation once sugar and acidity come into balance, which leaves it light in alcohol (about 10%) with roughly 20 g/L of residual sugar.

Wine A delicate, juicy, off-dry style of Riesling. Citrus blossom, fresh red apple, nectarine and flinty notes lead into a light, sweetly fruited palate. Lively acidity builds through to a long, refreshing finish.
