Vineyard From Simon and Lauren Sharpe's tiny 3-hectare biodynamic plot in the Waihopai Valley — voted New Zealand's Best New Winery in 2023 (Viva Magazine). After a decade making wine in France's Cahors region, the couple returned to prove NZ Sauvignon Blanc could have soul and longevity. Wild-fermented (¾ direct press, ¼ with 7 days of skin maceration) in neutral oak and stainless steel, aged 11 months, unfined and unfiltered with no added sulfites.

Wine A precise, understated expression of Marlborough Sauvignon with a ripe fruit profile that stays fresh and mineral-driven rather than searingly aromatic. Grapefruit, lime, and passionfruit or gooseberry notes are balanced by subtle Jura-inspired tension and salinity.
