Askerne Reserve Chardonnay 2024

Askerne Reserve Chardonnay 2024

• Region: Hawke’s Bay
• Sub-Region: Havelock North

Vineyard Produced only in exceptional vintages, the Reserve is a selection of the very best barrels from the estate’s premium blocks. This site-specific selection focuses on concentrated fruit with a high degree of structural complexity.

Wine A weightier, more opulent expression than the estate bottling. This Reserve wine features dense layers of nectarine, grilled pineapple, and toasted cashew. A creamy malolactic influence provides a rich mouthfeel, cut by a fine line of flinty acidity.

Food Pairings

• Dungeness crab Mac and Cheese
• Classic Butter Chicken
• Roast turkey with savory sourdough stuffing
