Introducing the 2018 Amisfield RKV ‘Reserve’ Pinot that has secured rave reviews and also has 6+ years in bottle making it beautiful drinking in the right now (but also extremely cellarable). RKV is a single block wine from the acclaimed Rocky Knoll Vineyard (RKV), an extremely low-yield 2ha vineyard in the Pisa sub-region of Central Otago. Scoring 96/100 from both Bob Campbell MW and Cameron Douglas MS this is an elegant yet powerful classically framed Central Pinot with layers of fruit, spice, florals, fine acidity, chalky tannins, elegant oak and some umami / soy savouriness. It’s the complete package.
