Donnafugata, lovers of literature, created Sherazade out of the fictional novel "A Thousand and One Arabian Nights". The King of Sultan, betrayed by love, becomes renown for beheading his wives on the first night of marriage and Sherazade, daughter of a city dweller, asks for her father's permission to marry him, believing he has a good heart. Reluctantly, he agrees and so begins the tale. Each night, Sherazade starts but does not finish her incredible stories to the King and so, after a thousand and one nights, she is still in the palace and they are in love.

This wine is reminiscent of love and courage, bright ruby red in color with violet reflections, a fruity bouquet with hints of plum and cherry flanked by delicate spicy hints of black pepper and floral notes of violet. On the palate the fruit returns, with great softness and excellent freshness. The caressing tannin completes this tale of bravery and wit, as well as fidelity and loyalty.
