Vineyard From Domaine Gérard Fiou, run by winemaker Florent Bourgeois (trained at Vérité, Zuccardi, and Clos Henri in Marlborough). A blend of the domaine's three villages — Sainte-Gemme, Sury-en-Vaux, and Verdigny — on the famous flinted (silex) hills on the eastern side of Sancerre.

Wine Mineral-driven and precise, with Fuji apple, pear, and quince blossom aromas. Medium-bodied and steely-textured, with lemon-tinged acidity racing across dried-cut grass and wet stone to the finish.
