Vineyard From a single vineyard just outside Ward in the Awatere Valley, owned and managed by Sara Davies and Andrew Craig, and made by respected Marlborough winemaker Brian Bicknell (Mahi's first vintage was 2006). Fruit is machine-picked to minimise maceration; a portion is barrel-fermented in older French oak for weight, with the final blend made solely from free-run juice for elegance.
Wine A delicately floral, peachy nose leads to a juicy, generous, ripe palate with more peach character and honeysuckle notes, remaining crisp and fresh throughout.
