Vineyard Produced by Martoccia di Brunelli, a small hilltop estate known for extraordinarily low yields and bonsai-trained vines on quartz-rich soils. Winemaker Luca Brunelli selects only the most concentrated fruit from low-yield vines. The wine ages for up to 36 months, split between large Slavonian oak casks and smaller French oak barriques, followed by additional bottle aging before release — in line with 2019's reputation as an outstanding Brunello vintage.

Wine A woodsy, wintery nose of dark berries, pine, earth, and mulled spice, especially clove. The palate is rich and velvety, with bright acidity rising above dense, chewy tannins to keep the wine lifted rather than heavy.
