Vineyard Estate-grown at Misha’s Vineyard, a 57-hectare site on the edge of Lake Dunstan with sun-drenched, north-west-facing terraces. Limelight is classified among the “Fine Wines of New Zealand” (Air New Zealand). About 70% of the juice, mostly free-run, was cool-fermented in stainless steel. The remaining 30% was wild-fermented in older French barrels for texture. Fermentation was stopped by chilling to keep about 28 g/L of residual sugar, giving a medium-dry style at 11.5% alcohol.

Wine Gorgeously styled, with lemon curd, lime peel, crunchy apple and citrus blossom, plus kaffir lime, jasmine and a touch of ginger. The palate has excellent weight and a flowing mouthfeel, with subtle sweetness and beautifully pitched acidity. It finishes long and refined, and drinks well to about 2035.
