Vineyard From Riverby Estate's Jacksons Road vineyard in Rapaura, next door to Cloudy Bay, first planted in 1989. The Pinot Gris block was planted in 2006 and is now showing the complexity of maturing vines, with yields carefully managed to preserve varietal precision.

Wine Pale lemon in colour, with an instantly appealing nose of rich spice, complex garden florals, poached pear, ripe peach, Granny Smith apple, citrus, and clove. The palate continues the rich, spicy theme with real texture and creamy complexity over a pear-and-peach base, supported by lime and grapefruit.
