Rockford Sparkling Shiraz (2024)

Only about 600 dozen of this wine are made each year (and if you visit the cellar door you’re limited to a maximum of three bottles per vintage). This wine is made by the solera method, essentally taking a small portion of wine from barrels that have been kept full since 1978 building depth and complexity as the average age of the wine gets older and older. If love Sparkling Shiraz this is a no brainer, but if you’ve never tried the style, this is Sparkling Shiraz at it’s best… powerful, dark, complex and refined. This is a true Icon wine, listed on the Langton’s Classification and respected world wide - it also happens to be our marketing guys very favourite Australian wine.
