Vineyard From the producer's own vineyards in the Waipara Valley, named for the New Zealand grayling — a native fish, now believed extinct, once described by early settlers as strikingly beautiful.
Wine Black cherries and plum aromas with savoury, oak highlights. A ripe, fleshy Pinot Noir showing good palate weight and a well-integrated, lingering aftertaste.
