Vineyard From Chinaman's Terrace in Bendigo — identified by winemaker Grant Taylor as his favourite site during Central Otago's largest-ever Bendigo plantings. Fermented with 40% whole bunch, the most powerful and structured of VALLI's subregional Pinot Noirs, grown at elevation for a tangy natural freshness.
Wine Deep garnet, with a nose of blackberry, dark cherry, plum, lily, sweet pea, rosemary, birch, and dark chocolate. The palate is tightly woven with dark fruit and spice, laced with a fresh line of acidity and mouth-coating, campfire-warm tannins.
